Generic name: Liothyronine sodium, T3

Description: Tiromel (T3), the brand name for substance liothyronine sodium is a thyroid hormone. It is used to treat thyroid insufficiency (hypothyroidism). Taking of T3 causes a faster conversion of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
